Anna’s comment – even in Jakarta I would not say “Aku sudah ada kenyang”, simply “sudah kenyang”, as “ada” is superfluous there even without the confusion of Bahasa Bali interceding! Often we Bule try to force the verb “to be” into informal Indonesian when it’s simply not required.

I will permit myself a wee chuckle next time I use the word “kenyang” in a Balinese context though :-)
